Story
Our story
HP FABRICS was founded in 2002 by Mr. Paul Hefti and Mrs. Mona Hefti and is based in the German-speaking Swiss canton called Schwyz. It immediately proposed itself as a partner for the outsourcing management of electronic products, aiming to distinguish itself from competitors.
2009
2009: Strengthening of the team and opening of the Mendrisio branch in Ticino Canton, to foster business relationships with new clients and strategic suppliers.
2012
2012: Strengthening of the team to improve warehouse management and logistics activities.
2013
2013: Strengthening of the team to increase the material purchasing activity – Relocation of the Mendrisio offices to the new industrial headquarters – Creation of the central components warehouse. ISO 9001: 2008 / SQS certification; IQNet certification.
2014
2014: Founding of HCS ELECTRONIC as a “Manufacturing Centre”, in order to provide further management and operational flexibility, reduction of lead time and greater production capacity dedicated to prototypes and zero series.
2015
2015: Creation of ElectronAlliance: a network of companies and synergetic skills able to cover all the needs of the electronics industry, from engineering to after-sales. ISO 9001:2015 / SQS certification; IQNet certification.
2016
2016: Expansion of surface mount technologies: new Yamaha silk-screen printing machine for the deposit of solder paste on PCB.
2017
2017: Acquisition of additional warehouse space of 500 sqm for finished products.
2018
2018: Expansion of surface mount technologies: second P&P machine/Yamaha.
2019
2019: Expansion of testing technologies: FT02 functional testing machine/Sapra.
2020
2020: Expansion of testing technologies: 3D automated optical inspection machine/Delvitech.
2020: Synergistic partnership with DELVITECH SA. With the entrepreneurial and financial support of major local investors such as TiVenture and the involvement of the Dalle Molle Institute of Artificial Intelligence Studies, DELVITECH designs and manufactures solutions in the field of automatic optical inspection with software programming standards based on artificial intelligence. Thanks to technical and commercial agreements, the companies aim to benefit from each other’s technical and technological expertise in order to improve their performance.

Management of framework orders with a finished goods warehouse
We manage our customers’ finished goods by storing them in dedicated areas of our warehouse. We therefore permit to plan any changes in market demand more quickly. Our security warehouse is the customer’s security warehouse.
Ongoing communication and collaboration with our customers’ purchasing offices
We support customers in reducing and sharing the risk due to constantly changing and evolving planning.
Our partners’ validation and continuous attention to the improvement of their reliability
We collaborate with specialised laboratories, located in the north of Italy, in order to assess and analyse every component of the entire process in a highly professional way. From PCBs to the most critical components, including consumables, we are able to carry out various tests aimed at the constant improvement of our quality and at the analysis of critical process aspects.
